About HR Guy

Lance Haun is “Your HR Guy”, a Human Resources Generalist practicing in the field for almost five years. He has practiced HR in large governmental institutions and small start-ups. He also works with smaller businesses without HR departments through Rehaul Consulting.

I try to keep things as open and honest here as possible but there are a few things I can never do:

  • I cannot discuss specifics of cases I am dealing with currently or previously at work.
  • I take every effort to make sure everything I talk about here respects people confidentiality.
  • I will not give legal advice.

My confidentiality agreement specifically limits what I can say about my current work. This is to limit my employer’s liability and my own liability. So everything I say here is in compliance with that agreement.

As for what that leaves me to talk about, there is a ton. I not only have past experiences from other jobs where I have not signed confidentiality agreements but general advice and do’s and don’ts that I can talk about well within my ability. Believe me. Or just read.
